Performance Technology Group Expands Data Center Facility to Support New State and Commercial Contracts

Baltimore, Maryland – September 24, 2008 – Performance Technology Group, Inc. (PTG) is building out 10,000 square feet of its 30,000 square foot data center facility to accommodate a number of recently awarded technology management contracts to include the State of Maryland Department of Information Technology’s networkMaryland™.

The networkMaryland™ award is a three-year contract to remotely monitor, manage and support networkMaryland™, the state’s private, statewide high speed data network for state agencies in each of the 23 State counties and the City of Baltimore.

In addition, the company has recently retained contracts from Knoll, Inc., RWD Technologies, McCormick & Company, Inc. and the State of Maryland’s Department of Education’s CCATS (Child Care Administration Tracking System) for data center and technology management services.

This rapid increase in business development has led to an expansion of staff and space, along with an overhaul of the company’s existing office and data center space.
