AMPs Hires PTG for Data Center Services

Baltimore, Maryland – April 30, 2009 – Performance Technology Group, Inc. (PTG) was hired by Advertising Media Plus, Inc. (AMPs) for data co-location, monitoring and back-up services.

AMPs is an advertising, marketing and multimedia communications center headquartered in Baltimore formed to work with national advertisers and ad agencies looking to target faith-based communities. They are the exclusive publisher’s representative for a number of national magazines and recently won the contract to host Vatican Radio, which is broadcasted internationally.

Says Daniel Medinger, president and owner of AMPs, "Our network reach is 70 million plus and growing. To support the growth, we needed to invest in our IT infrastructure. Faced with building our own data center or hosting in a third party site, we opted for hosting. It is a greener, less expensive alternative."

Headquartered in Baltimore, PTG is a premier provider of systems engineering and technology management services for commercial, State and Federal customers requiring high reliability and security. Clients include American Radiology Services, Knoll Furniture and Johns Hopkins. Founded in 1996, PTG became the first managed technology provider in Baltimore to become SAS 70 Type II Certified.
